Rectangular desks, use least amount of space, but look very user-unfriendly and strict with sharp corners. These desks are built to fit the building efficiently and the user is suppose to adjust to the desk. What about putting the user first and having desks that fit around the user and their needs. How would the form of the desk look then?
Nuclear Desk Layout
Nuclear Layout. Creates a more dynamic feel to the office. Uses more space than rectangular desks, but still relatively compact in the way they fit together. These desk layouts take inspiration from the way cells fit together, and are more organic than the rectangular desks. However, the materials used and the general appearance of the desk is still very rigid and not very appealing to the user.
